Training & Development Team
“The aim of the T&DT is to contribute to the achievement and capability of ATC personnel through the provisions of an efficient and effective training system”

Anyone meeting the eligibility criteria and is considering uniformed adult service is encouraged to attend, even if they have not concluded their future plans. However, the POC is compulsory for all Adult Staff Members (ASMs) prior to their boarding process for progression in to either becoming and ATC Adult SNCO or VR(T) Commissioned Officer.

This Course has three distinct aims:

1 To emphasise the standards required of an RAFVR(T) officer or Adult SNCO.
2 To explain the expectations of an RAFVR(T) officer or Adult SNCO.
3 To provide useful information prior to embarking on the RAFVR(T) or Adult SNCO selection process.

It is intended that the course be enjoyable as well as Informative, helpful and stimulating. The POC is not a selection course and no preparation is required prior to attending.
